Start By:a. remove fan and fan drive 1. Remove nut (1), and remove washers (2) and (6) with bolt (7).2. Remove bracket assembly (3) from hub (9). Remove spacer (10) and bearing (8) from hub (9). Remove pulley (12) from the hub.3. Remove spacer (4) from hub (9). Remove lip seal (5) and bearing (11) from the hub. The following steps are for the assembly of the fan drive.4. Position spacer (10) in hub (9).5. Lightly lubricate the sealing lips of lip seal (5). Use Tool (A) to install bearings (11) and lip seal (5) in the hub. Install spacer (4) in the hub. Position pulley (12) on the hub.6. Place 3 13 cm (.44 oz) of Chevron SRI No. 2 Bearing Lubricant in the cavity along spacer (10) and the two bearings. Install bearing (8) in hub (9).7. Position hub (9) against bracket assembly (3). Install bolt (7), washers (2) and (6), and nut (1).8. Put Chevron SRI No. 2 Bearing Lubricant in the fan adapter cavity, before the fan and fan drive is installed.End By:a. install fan and fan drive
