Installation Procedure
Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.
Illustration 1 g00805746Note: Make sure that the ports of the valve are in the correct position.
Position pilot valve (18) and install bolts (17).

Install bellows (16) on the pilot valve.

Position travel pedals (13) and (14) on the pilot valve. Install bolts (15). Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 33 3 N m (25 3 lb ft).

Install rubber covers (12) and (11) onto the travel pedals.

Position rubber floormat (10) around the travel pedals.
Illustration 6 g00805726Note: Hydraulic fitting (9) is the hydraulic fitting with the filter.
Install hydraulic fitting (9) and (8) into the pilot valve.

Connect hose assemblies (3), (4), (5), (7), and (6).
Check the hydraulic system oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities".
Start the engine, and check the operation of the pilot valve. Also, check for leaks. Stop the engine.

Position cover (1) and install bolts (2).
