Connect anti-pivot link to the main frames of machine before the machine is lifted.
1. Put wood blocks behind the rear wheels. Install two 50 ton screw jacks on frame of machine as shown. Lift the front of the machine with the jacks to a height of approximately 29 in. (73.7 cm).
Keep clear of the machine when the jacks are installed.
2. Fasten straps and a hoist to the fender (1). Remove the nuts (2) that hold the fender to the machine frame. Remove fender (1). Weight of the fender is 75 lb. (34 kg). 3. Fasten cables and a hoist to the tires and rim. Remove the nuts (3) that hold tire and rim to the wheel assembly. Remove tire and rim. Weight is 1350 lb. (608 kg).Install Front Tires And Rims (824C)
1. Fasten cables and a hoist to tire and rim. Put tire and rim (1) in position on the wheel assembly and install the nuts that hold it. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 550 60 lb.ft. (750 80 N m). 2. Fasten straps and a hoist to fender (2). Put fender in position on the machine frame. 3. Install the nuts (3) that hold fender to the machine frame. Remove straps and hoist.4.
