Begin by removing the front window wiper group. Retain hardware, as the parts will be reinstalled later.
Remove the existing front glass. Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS9824, "Replacing Bonded Windows".

Applying the new seal (2)
Place the new front glass (5) or (6) on a flat surface with the power terminals facing up. The power terminals are located on what will be the top of the window. Starting at the bottom of the window, apply the new seal (2) around the perimeter of the glass. Refer to Illustration 1.

Cutting the seal to length
Cut the seal to the proper length. Make sure that the seam where the seal ends meet is at the bottom of the window. Refer to Illustration 2.

Apply RTV Adhesive Sealant (10) on the narrow section of the new brackets (4) to hold the new seals (3) in place as shown in Illustration 3.

Install one of the new brackets (4) to the top of the cab. Use three new screws (9) and three new washers (1). Refer to Illustration 4.

(7) Harness
Install the new wire harness (7) to the terminals on the window. The position of the terminals on the wire harness does not matter. Refer to Illustration 5. Use RTV Adhesive Sealant (10) around the terminals at the glass as needed to provide additional strength and insulation from moisture. Support the terminals at the glass until install to prevent breakage.

With the harness inside the cab, slide the top of the glass into the top bracket. Install the new bracket (4) to the bottom of the glass. Use three new screws (9) and three new washers (1). Refer to Illustration 6.

(7) Harness
Finish by bundling the new harness (7) with the existing cab harness. Use a new cable strap (8) to tie the new harness (7) to the existing cab harness. Refer to Illustration 7.
Once installation is complete, refer to the appropriate Special Instruction for the cab wiring changes to complete the procedure. See reference articles in the Introduction above.
