Illustration 2 g00935636
Hydraulic tank (1) supplies oil to the vibratory system by sending oil to the charge pump that is located on the end on the vibratory pump. The hydraulic tank is located on the right side of the compactor below the operator platform.Vibratory Pump
Illustration 3 g00934153
Vibratory pump (2) is located in front of the propel pumps under the operator platform. The vibratory pump is a piston pump.Reference: See Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Piston Pump (Vibratory System)" for more information.Vibratory Charge Filter
Illustration 4 g00934154
The filter for the vibratory system is located on the left side of the machine inside the steps for the operator. Hydraulic oil filter (3) will filter all charge oil before the oil is routed to the vibratory system.Reference: See Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Hydraulic Oil Filter " for more information on the vibratory charge filter.Vibratory Motor
Illustration 5 g00934157
Vibratory motor (4) is located on the right side of the vibratory drum. The vibratory motor is a piston motor that rotates the eccentric weights.Reference: See Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Piston Motor (Vibratory System)" for more information.Eccentric Weights
Illustration 6 g00935649
Eccentric weights (5) are located inside the vibratory drum. When the eccentric weights are rotated, the drum is able to compact soil through vibration.Reference: See Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Support and Vibratory Drive" for more information on the eccentric weights.Thermal Bypass and Return Manifold Valve
Illustration 7 g00934155
Thermal bypass and return manifold valve (6) is located on the left side of the compactor under the operator platform. The return manifold contains the thermal bypass valve, which sends oil that needs to be cooled to the hydraulic oil cooler. Oil that does not need to be cooled returns to the hydraulic tank.Reference: See Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Bypass Valve (Return Manifold)" for more information.Hydraulic Oil Cooler
Illustration 8 g00935661
Hydraulic Oil cooler (7) is mounted between the radiator and the fuel cooler at the rear of the machine. The hydraulic oil cooler lowers the hydraulic oil temperature before the oil is returned to the hydraulic tank.
