Lubricate the pin bore of the tilt cylinder with Tooling (L) .
Align the pin bores in tilt lever (12) with the pin bore in the tilt cylinder.
Install pin (13) .

Apply Tooling (M) to the inside diameter and the outside diameter of collet (9) .
Install collet (9) .
Apply Tooling (M) to the threads of bolt (11). Install bolt (11) and the washer.
Repeat Step 29 through Step 31 for the collet on the other side.Note: The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other when the bolts are tight.
Tighten two bolts (11) evenly to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolts are tight, hit the collet on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolts is less than 475 N m (350 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (11) evenly to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolts are tight, hit the collet on each side until the torque on the bolts is less than 675 N m (500 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (11) to a final torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft).Note: At the end of 50 service hours, repeat Step 33 through Step 35.

Lubricate pin (4) and the pin bore of the lift arm with Tooling (N) .
Align the pin bores in the lift arm with the pin bore in the lift cylinder.
Install pin (4) .

Install three plastic plugs (28) .

Apply Tooling (M) to the inside diameter and the outside diameter of collet (2) .
Install collet (2) .
Repeat Step 39 through Step 42 for the collet on the other side.

Apply Tooling (M) to the threads of bolt (1) .
Install bolt (1) and the washer.Note: The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other when the bolt is tight.
Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolt is tight, hit the collet on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolt is less than 475 N m (350 lb ft).

Lubricate the lift arm and the cylinder bearings. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lift Arm and Cylinder Bearings - Lubricate".
