When you transport the hammer on the host machine, position the hammer so the stick can be moved under the boom and the boom can be carried as low as possible. When you transport the hammer, ensure that the hammer is not too close to the cab window. Do not point the hammer at the cab window when you transport the hammer.

When you must transport the hammer on another vehicle, position the hammer flat on the bed of the vehicle. Refer to Illustration 2 for the correct transport position.Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the host machine for additional information on transporting the host machine.
