Remove the camshaft segments. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to remove camshaft bearing (1). Connect Tooling (C) to Tooling (B). Tooling (A) is piloted into the bearing bores or into the cylinder block bores.
Move camshaft bearing (1) out of the cylinder block. Hold Tooling (A) and hold Tooling (B) so that the Tooling does not drop after you remove camshaft bearing (1).
Repeat this procedure for the other camshaft bearings.
