3300 Family Of Engines Except Spark-Ignited EnginesDescription of Change: A new shaft bracket and oil supply plug are used in the rocker valve shaft assembly. The new plug blocks an oil supply hole in the bracket and must be used in all the above engine applications.Adaptable To: The new 7C7011 Shaft Bracket (2) and 3K8460 Plug (1) replace the former 7N8015 Shaft Bracket (not canceled). If a new 7C7011 Shaft Bracket is used for parts service, the 3K8560 Plug must be installed. To install the plug, apply 5P3413 Pipe Sealant to the threads and tighten the plug to a torque of 20 5 N m (15 5 lb ft). See the illustration for the location of the new parts.
