Installation Procedure
Note: Prior to installing a new or rebuilt ride control accumulator, it is necessary to remove all the air from the nitrogen chamber of the accumulator. Refer to Systems Operation Testing and Adjusting, "Ride Control Accumulator - Test and Charge".
Attach a suitable lifting device to ride control accumulator (6). The weight of ride control accumulator (6) is approximately 62 kg (136 lb).

Install solenoid valve and mounting (8) to ride control accumulator (6) .
Install the front mounting clamp to ride control accumulator (6) .

Slide ride control accumulator (6) through the rear clamp.
Tighten bolt (7) .

Install two bolts (5) to clamp (4) .

Connect hose assembly (2) to the solenoid valve mounting.
Connect the wiring harness to connector (3) .

Install cover (1) .
Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
Charge the ride control accumulator. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Ride Control Accumulator - Test and Charge".End By:
Remove the bucket control safety pins. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket Control Safety Pins - Remove and Install".
Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
