A powered access ladder kit is now available for the D11R. The access ladder will provide an improved method for operators to enter and exit the operators compartment on a D11R. The complete access/retrofit system requires that two kits be ordered from Caterpillar parts. The access/retrofit system is a fully integrated design that is supported through the Caterpillar distribution network.This improvement is adaptable to the machines that are listed above.Reference Refer to Special Instruction, REHS4359, "Retrofitting the D11R for the Access Ladder" and Special Instruction, REHS4320, "Installation of the Ladder On the D11R and D11T Track-Type Tractor " for the procedure to update your D11R with the access ladder kit.
