Information:
(A) Inspect the ground level controls. Make sure that covers (1) for the engine shutdown switch and the battery disconnect switch are down. Inspect warning light (2). Inspect cover (3) on the RS-232 connection for the VIMS. (B) Inspect the steps, the walkways, and the handholds. Clean the steps, the walkways, and the handholds. Make any necessary repairs. Also inspect the front operating lights. Inspect the lights for broken bulbs and for broken lenses. Replace any broken bulbs and any broken lenses. Make sure that all covers and guards are securely attached. Inspect the covers and the guards for damage.

Check the level of coolant in the radiator. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant Level - Check". Remove any debris that could block the air flow.

Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil Level - Check" and refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil Level - Log Additions". Check for oil leaks and coolant leaks. Drain the moisture and sediment from the air tanks. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Air Tank Moisture and Sediment - Drain". Inspect all of the belts for the engine attachments. Replace any belts that are worn, frayed, or broken. (F)
