Remove the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Remove the cab headliner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab Headliner - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.Note: The transmission hydraulic control valves may be removed and installed while the cab is in place. The cab has been removed for photographic purposes.

Remove two bolts (2) that hold cover (3) on the transmission.
Remove transmission control cable (1) from the notch in the transmission control linkage. Then remove the cable from the transmission.Note: Steps 3 and 4 are not necessary if the cab has been removed.
Remove two bolts (7) that hold cover (6) on the transmission.
Remove clutch control cable (5) from the notch in the modulating valve link. Then remove the clutch control cable from the transmission.
Remove the bolts on cover (4) and remove cover (4) .

Remove bolts (8) and (9). Then remove two bolts (11) .
Use Tooling (A), straps, and Tooling (B) in order to remove the transmission hydraulic control valves (10). Position Tooling (A) on the rollover protective structure. Use a strap to fasten Tooling (B) to Tooling (A) .
Use Tooling (B) and two straps to remove the transmission hydraulic control valves. The weight of the transmission hydraulic control valves is 68 kg (150 lb).
