Implement ECM Calibration screenImplement ECM Calibrations
The following calibrations can be performed to the Implement ECM:
Lever Calibrations - Each lever can be calibrated to align the Implement ECM software to the range of physical component. The calibration records the duty cycle at each end of lever travel. Also the calibration ensures that the lever centered duty cycle is within a certain range. This information is then used to calculate a normalized lever position and a lever input command.
Linkage Sensor Calibration - Each linkage sensor is calibrated to align the Implement ECM software to the range of the physical component. The calibration records the duty cycle at two linkage positions that define the maximum rotation angles for that sensor. This information is then used to calculate a normalized angle position.
Right Front and Right Rear Pump Calibrations - Each pump is calibrated to ensure that the Implement ECM delivers the right amount of current needed to obtain the desired pump displacement. The calibration establishes a baseline pressure and then increases current to the pump solenoid. Once an increase in pressure is detected, the ECM records the pump solenoid current. This information is then used to determine the minimum amount of current needed to start upstroking the pump and the current needed to achieve maximum pump displacement.
Left Front (Shared Supply) Pump Calibration - Each pump is calibrated to ensure that the Implement ECM delivers the right amount of current needed to obtain the desired pump displacement. This calibration first builds pressure in the left valve section by sending current to the Left Valve Rack Solenoid and the Right Front Implement Pump. Doing this should ensure that oil from the Left Front (Shared Supply) Pump will be routed through the shuttle valve to the right valve section. Next, the calibration builds pressure in the right valve section by sending current to the Right Valve Rack Solenoid. Once the desired pressure is achieved, the solenoid current is held steady and the calibration establishes a baseline pressure. Then, it increases current to the pump solenoid being calibrated. Once an increase in pressure is detected in the right valve section, the ECM records the pump solenoid current. This information is then used to determine the minimum amount of current needed to start upstroking the pump and the current needed to achieve maximum pump displacement.
