Remove Hose Assemblies. Retain Bolts, Washers, and Split Flanges for installation of the replacement hose assemblies. If the hose assemblies still have Clips (G), Clips (H), and Grommets (J) attached, retain these parts for installation of the replacement hose assemblies.
Remove Bracket Assembly (A) that is attached to the engine end frame. This operation may have been previously removed per Service Magazine, SEPD0865, "New Hose Assemblies and Routing Are Now Used".
Procure replacement Hose As (4) and Hose As (5), per latest HIS (Hose Information System). Refer to Table 1.
Place the Seal in the O-ring groove on each end of Hose As (4) and Hose As (5)
Install Hose As (5) between the 112-5381 Piston Pump Gp and the 113-9502 Manifold using the retained Bolts, Washers, and Split Flanges. Do not tighten the bolts in order to allow for proper positioning of the hose assembly.
Install 298-4777 Hose As between the 216-4825 Piston Pump Gp and 298-4777 Hose As using the retained Bolts, Washers, and Split Flanges. Do not tighten the bolts in order to allow for proper positioning of the hose assembly.

Adjust the angle of Hose As (5) (5) toward Hose As (4). This procedure will maximize the amount of hose length in line with each other. Refer to Illustration 2.

Install one Clip (6), Clip (7), and Grommet (8) to make one clamp assembly.
Repeat Step 8, three times to make a total of four clamp assemblies.

(K) 355.6 mm (14 inch) (4) 298-4777 Hose As (5) 298-4778 Hose As
Attach one clamp assembly to Hose As (4) approximately 355.6 mm (14 inch) (K) from the 216-4825 Piston Pump Gp .
Attach a second clamp assembly to Hose As (5) to line up with the clamp above.

Use one Bolt (11), two Washers (10), and one Nut (9) to attach the bottom two clamp assemblies together.

Attach the third clamp assembly to Hose As (4) approximately 431.8 mm (17 inch) (L) from the 113-9502 Manifold .
Attach the fourth clamp assembly to Hose As (5) to line up with the clamp above.

Use one Bolt (11), two Washers (10), and one Nut (9) to attach the bottom two clamp assemblies together. Refer to Illustration 7.
Tighten all bolts on the Split Flanges using the appropriate torque procedure.
Rerouting or adjustment of the filter hose may be required. Secure the filter hose to the Hose As (4) using Cable Strap (3) and a Mount (2) to prevent hose fouls.
