Select the "Profile" pull-down menu. Click on the "Machine Heading" option. When the "option" button is clicked, you turn on or you turn off a check mark that is adjacent to "Machine Heading". When a check mark is adjacent to the "Machine Heading", the profile is along the heading of the machine. When no check mark is present, the profile is perpendicular to the heading of the machine.Note: The number of points along the profile cannot be modified. The profile shows the traces of various surfaces that are set up on the selected machine. For example, the trace that is colored green is the trace of the prime elevation design. The Traces are taken from the names of the files, and these names are labelled along the base of the profile. You can add and you can remove the traces from the profile.Traces that Can Be Added or Removed
Compaction (Elev. Comp.) - The trace of the current elevation is extracted from the compaction file.Current Elevation - The trace of the current elevation is extracted from the current elevation file.Design Initial - This trace is not Used.Elevation Design - The trace of the elevation is extracted from the design surface file.Hidden - The trace of a surface that represents the underlying strata of material boundaries.Original Ground - The trace of the elevation extracted from the original elevation file.Avoidance Surface - The trace of elevation of the avoidance surface extracted from the avoidance surface file.Add a Trace to a Profile
