Failure to perform the initial pressure tests could result in problems when you perform the service brake test and subsequent tests.

Place one 9S-0027 Lift Assembly (1) behind each track.
Enter the machine.
Fasten the seat belt.
Start the engine and increase the engine speed to the HALF THROTTLE position.
Select the lowest maximum ground speed.
Apply the service brakes.
Depress the deceleration pedal.
Release the parking brake.
Move the speed and direction control to the REVERSE position.
Release the service brakes.
Slowly raise the deceleration pedal and back up the machine onto the lift assemblies.
Apply the service brake and place the speed and direction control to the NEUTRAL position.
Decrease engine speed to LOW IDLE.
Engage the parking brakes and stop the engine.
Exit the machine.

Place two of the stands (4) under the machine in order to support the rear of the machine. Adjust tubes (2) to the proper height and insert pins (3) .
Enter the machine.
Fasten the seat belt.
Start the engine and increase the engine speed to HIGH IDLE.
Lower the blade to the ground.
With the blade on the ground, raise the front of the machine until the machine is level.
Lower the engine speed to LOW IDLE.
Engage the parking brake.
Stop the engine.
Exit the machine.

Place the last stand (4) under the front of the machine. Adjust tube (2) to the proper height and insert pin (3) .
Enter the machine.
Fasten the seat belt.
Start the engine and increase the engine speed to HIGH IDLE.
Move the bulldozer control to the RAISE position in order to slowly lower the front of the machine onto the stand.
Lower the engine speed to LOW IDLE.
Stop the engine.
Exit the machine.
Connect the communication adapter to the service tool connector.

Open the access door on the right side of the machine.

Install hose assembly onto pressure tap "7".
Install 8T-0855 Pressure Gauge (0 to 4,000 kPa (0 to 580 psi)) onto the other end of the hose.
Enter the machine.
Fasten the seat belt.
Start the engine and increase the engine speed to HIGH IDLE.
Depress the service brake.
Select the lowest maximum ground speed.
Release the parking brake.
Move the speed and direction control to the FORWARD position.
Release the service brake.
Check the parking brake pressure. Record the pressure onto the worksheets. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Worksheets - Troubleshoot". The parking brake pressure at pressure tap "7" should be 2550 200 kPa (370 30 psi).
Fully depress the service brake.
Check the parking brake pressure. Record the pressure onto the worksheets.The parking brake pressure at pressure tap "7" should be 100 100 kPa (15 15 psi).
Return the speed and direction control to the HOLD position.
Decrease engine speed to LOW IDLE.
Engage the parking brake.
Stop the engine.
Exit the
