Servicing and changing tires and rims can be dangerous and should be done only by trained personnel using proper tools and procedures.
Chock the wheels that are not being removed in order to stabilize the machine during the removal of the tires.

Note: This procedure is being performed on a rear tire. The same procedure should be used in order to remove the remainder of the tires and rims.
Place Tooling (A) under the axle. Attach Tooling (B) to Tooling (A). Use Tooling (A) in order to raise the tire and rim off the ground.

Remove 21 nuts (1) from the rim. Leave two nuts (1) on the rim.Note: You should leave the two nuts in a position so that the nuts will be accessible for removal later.

Position the forks of a lift truck under the tire. Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable nylon lifting sling in order to secure the tire to the mast of the lift truck.
Remove the remaining two nuts from the rim. Use the lift truck in order to remove the tire and the rim from the machine. The weight of the tire and the rim is 907 kg (2000 lb).Note: Use care when you remove the tire. Damage to the studs may occur if the tire is not handled properly.
