"SET PITCH" Key - This key allows the operator to change the "BLADE PITCH" settings that are used by the "AUTO Pitch" feature. The "BLADE PITCH" setting can be associated with an OPERATOR ID. This key will enter the number "4" when a numerical entry is required. The "BLADE PITCH" settings can be changed for the segments of the "dozing cycle" that are listed below:
"LOAD"
"CARRY"
"SPREAD"When an "OPERATOR ID" has been selected through the "SETUP" key, the values of the "pitch" settings are made current. The operator can use the "SET PITCH" key to change the values for a shift of operations. If you wish to store the new values for future use, you must perform the "2:SAVE SHIFT SETUP" option that is found under the "SETUP" key. Note: "AUTO Pitch" must be activated with the "blade reset" before pressing the "SET PITCH "key or the following message will be displayed on the message center.

ON FIRST        It is important to note that the blade must be reset in order to change the "pitch setting". The blade is reset by arming "AUTO Pitch" and pressing the "Mode Select" switch. The engine must be running and the "implement lock out" switch must be set to the "NOT LOCKED OUT" position in order to reset "AUTO Pitch". Once the blade is reset, the blade will remain reset. The values for the following "dozing cycle segments" will remain at zero if the "blade pitch" is not reset:
"LOAD"
"CARRY"
"SPREAD"Refer to the Systems Operation, "AUTO PITCH KEY" section of this manual for additional information .When the "SET PITCH" key is pressed, the message center will display the title of the menu and the first option. The title of the menu will remain on the first line and the options will be displayed on the second line. The arrow keys will scroll through the available "SET PITCH menu" options. An option can be selected by pressing the associated number for the option on the keypad. The operator can use the "CANCEL" key to exit the "SET PITCH menu". This will return the message center to the background mode.The list of available "SET PITCH menu" options is listed below:

"SET CARRY PITCH"
"SET SPREAD PITCH"If the "1:SET LOAD PITCH" option is selected from the "SET PITCH menu" the message center will display the following message:

= 0%        The percentage of the value may be different. The "percentage value" is dependent on the present position of the "BLADE Pitch". The range of the "BLADE Pitch" is from the "full back" position (0%) to the "full forward" position (100%).At this point, the operator would use the "pitch back" switch or the "pitch forward" switch in order to move the actual "pitch" position of the blade.
