Remove the swing cushion valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Cushion Valve - Remove".
Remove the swing motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Motor - Remove".

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove bolts (1) and head assembly (2).

Remove valves (3) and the O-ring seals.

Remove bearing (4).

Remove springs (5) and port plate (6).

Use Tooling (A) in order to retain piston (7).
Apply air pressure into the fitting.
