Connecting the 343-8435 Adapter Cable
Once the 346-5139 Switch Harness As , the 8C-5681 Limit Switch As and the 167-8663 Switch Harness As are installed, the "DIGITAL IN" branch of the 167-8663 Switch Harness As is routed to the location of the 357-7166 Control Harness As . The 343-8435 Adapter Cable is connected between the 357-7166 Control Harness As and the 167-8663 Switch Harness As .Perform the following procedure in order to connect the 343-8435 Adapter Cable :
Connect the "DIGITAL IN" Flange connector from the 167-8663 Switch Harness As to the "DIGITAL IN" Flange connector of the 343-8435 Adapter Cable .
Connect the "DIGITAL IN" connector of the 343-8435 Adapter Cable to the "DIGITAL IN" connector on the 357-7166 Control Harness As that is connected to the health interface module.

Locate the 357-7170 Wiring Harness and identify the C2 receptacle.
Connect the C2 receptacle of the 357-7170 Wiring Harness to the C10 plug of the 422-4562 Cab Harness As .Connection of the Mid Precision GPS Receiver
Locate the 385-2567 Power Harness As and identify the C2 receptacle.
Connect the C2 receptacle of the 385-2567 Power Harness As to the C10 plug of the 422-4562 Cab Harness As .Connection to Customer Supplied Ethernet Switch for Fleet Onboard Applications

422-4562 Cab Harness As (1) C7 plug for the ethernet switch or wireless radio. (2) C9 plug for the mid precision GPS (3) C10 plug for the low precision GPS
Connect a 419-5974 Adapter to the C7 plug of the 422-4562 Cab Harness As .
Connect an ethernet cable from the 419-5974 Adapter to the customer supplied ethernet switch. The customer supplied switch will connect to the CMPD harness and customer radio.Connection to a Customer Supplied Radio
Connect a 419-5974 Adapter to the C7 plug of the 422-4562 Cab Harness As .
