(6) Rear Cab Ground.If fault code F348 and F349 did not appear, then the clutch switch is probably stuck closed, or the Cab Main harness is shorted.
Inspect clutch switch and determine if the switch is sticking. Remove the connector C072. Check the switch for short circuit at terminals 1 and 2 when inching pedal is depressed. Expected Result: There is a short circuit.

Enter Mode 3 at the EMC and select identification number P215. Vary the inching pedal potentiometer from minimum to maximum (depress and release inching pedal). Expected Result: The display varies from approximately 16% to 76%.
YES, check Mode 12 for proper setup. After all Mode 12 parameters are checked and/or corrected, save all of the values even if no changes are made. To save, press and hold the setup/select key for three seconds. Turn the key start switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds. Operate the machine. Check to see if the fault code reoccurs. If the fault code is still active, go to Step 10.

Disconnect connector C063 from inching pedal potentiometer and measure resistance across terminals 1 to 2.Expected Result: The resistance measures between 3900 and 4100 ohms.
YES, go to Step 5.
NO, replace inching pedal potentiometer. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
While turning potentiometer, measure resistance from terminal 3 (wiper) to 2 and from terminal 3 to 1. Expected Result: While you are turning the potentiometer, the resistance measures approximately 0 to 4000 ohms.
YES, go to Step 6.
NO, replace inching pedal potentiometer. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
With potentiometer still disconnected, turn key start switch ON and measure voltage at terminals 1 to 2 on C063. Expected Result: The voltage measures approximately 5 DCV.
YES, go to Step 8.
NO, go to Step 7.
Disconnect EMC module connector C007. Check for open circuit between C007-C9 and C063-2. Also check for an open circuit between C007-C4 and C063-1. Expected Result: There is an open circuit.
YES, locate and repair open circuit in Cab Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 8.
Disconnect EMC module connector C007. Check for open circuit between C007-C13 and C063-3. Expected Result: There is an open circuit.
YES, locate and repair open circuit in Cab Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
