GASKET 1362187 - Caterpillar

1. Support bottom panel (2).2. Remove four bolts (1).3. Aside the bottom panel. 4. Remove all bolts (3) that hold upper and lower fan guards (4).5. Remove the upper and lower guards. A two setion shield will also be removed when the upper and lower fan guards are remove. If necessary, disconnect the upper radiator hose for ease in removal of the upper and lower guards. 6. Loosen bolt (5).7. Loosen bolt (6).8. Slide the alternator towards the fan drive.9. Remove two V-belts (7). The alternator V-belts must pass over the fan blades during the removal and installation procedure.10. Loosen bolt (8).11. Loosen bolt (10).12. Pivot the water pump drive toward the fan drive.13. Remove V-belt (9). Use the square hole in the plate assembly to maintain tension when installing water pump drive V-belt.14. Loosen jam nut (12) (not shown).15. Loosen bolt (11).16. Remove V-belt (13). For installation of the V-Belts, reverse the removal steps.17. Adjust V-belts to correct tension. Refer to Specifications module, Form No. SENR3582 for correct belt tension.
