Walk-Around Inspection
For maximum service life of the machine, make a thorough walk-around inspection before mounting the machine or starting the engine.Look around and under the machine for items such as loose or missing bolts, trash build-up, oil, coolant or fuel leaks. Inspect the condition and inflation of tires.Remove any trash and debris. Adjust tire inflation as needed. Have any necessary repairs made, loose connections and parts tightened to their specified torques and any missing parts replaced before starting the engine or operating the machine. If equipped with a block heater, be sure to connect the power source line to the heater on the machine first, then to the 240 volt source. Before starting or moving the machine disconnect the power source line from the 240 volt source first then the machine.Refer to "Walk-Around Inspection" in the "Maintenance Section" for detailed walk-around inspection information.Machine Pre-Start Checks
Check all of the oil, coolant and fuel levels.Refer to the "Every 10 Service Hours or Daily" in the "Maintenance Section" for more detailed information. Check and adjust the seat belt.
