The bolts should be tightened to a torque of 900 N m (664 lb ft) and then torque-turned an additional 60 degrees. This additional torque will bring the total torque to 2100 100 N m (1549 74 lb ft)
Check the torque for all of the bolts. Make sure that the bolts are torqued to 2100 100 N m (1549 74 lb ft) or greater.
Make sure that the torque wrench is set to the proper torque value.
Make a mark on the head of the bolt that is relative to the carbody or the bearing race.
Tighten the bolt to a torque of 2100 100 N m (1549 74 lb ft).
If the head of the bolt moves, the bolt was loose. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual for the correct procedure on checking the torque and the proper tools needed.

(1) 171-9325 Bolt (2) 199-4501 Spacer
If a bolt is loose or a bolt is broken, replace the 37 former bolts with new 171-9325 Bolts (1). Install new 199-4501 Spacers (2) with the bolts. Clean all of the components. Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 2100 200 N m (1540 150 lb ft).
