Electric Hydraulic Pump Gp (230-VOLT) 1 Start By:
Remove the axle assembly from the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fixed Axle (Front) - Remove" or Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Remove".
Remove the axle shafts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Remove". Note: The procedures for removing the front final drive and brake assemblies and the rear final drive and brake assemblies are the same.Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. Plugging helps to prevent fluid loss, and to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Disconnect hose assembly (2) (if equipped), from final drive and brake (1).
Disconnect two hose assemblies (3) and (4) from final drive and brake (1).

Position the rear axle assembly on a suitable stand or block in position, as shown.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to final drive and brake (1). The weight of final drive and brake (1) is approximately 960 kg (2120 lb).

Install Tooling (B) and remove 22 nuts (5) from final drive and brake (1).
Remove the final drive and brake (1) from the axle housing.

Remove O-ring seal (6) from final drive and brake (1).
