Before servicing the pump, ensure that power to the pump has been disconnected at the dosing cabinet circuit breaker.
Replace the DEF dosing pump (3) by performing the following steps:
Remove dosing cabinet access doors.
Open the pump circuit breaker (1) to disconnect power to the pump.
Disconnect all connections to the pump.
Remove thumb screws (2) from the mounting bar. Remove mounting bar.
Lift the pump and pull out through the access door.
Remove the feet from the bottom of the old pump by unscrewing four screws. Install the feet on to the bottom of the new pump.
Remove the heater pad from the old pump and reinstall the pad on to the new pump.
Ensure that the check valve is in the correct position and o-rings are installed. The arrow on the check valve should be pointing towards flow direction. Flow direction is from the bottom check valve to the top check valve.
Install the new pump by lowering the pump through the access door.
Install the mounting bar. Install and tighten thumbscrews.
Reconnect all electrical connectors.
Close the pump circuit breaker.
Install all cabinet access doors.
