"Limit Switch (Service Brake) - Test and Adjust"
Start the engine.

With the transmission control lever in the NEUTRAL position and the engine at high idle, set throttle speed set switch (1) .

(A) 15.0 mm (0.59 inch) or less (2) Limit switch (service brake)
Depress the service brake control pedal. When the service brake control pedal is depressed, the limit switch (service brake) (2) will activate. When the limit switch (2) is activated, throttle speed set switch (1) will be deactivated.
If the limit switch does not activate in 15.0 mm (0.59 inch) or less, perform the following adjustment:
Turn off the engine.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove cover (3) which is located behind the steering console.

Loosen four screws (4) that secure limit switch (2) .
Adjust limit switch (2) in order to obtain the proper dimension.
Tighten four screws (4). Install cover (3) .
Retest the limit switch.
