Torque Converter Outlet Pressure at Stall rpm 380 to 520 kPa (55 to 75 psi) Introduction
Note: Make sure that the filters and the screens are clean before you test any pressures. Make sure that the oil is at operating temperature before you perform this test.This test will show the following conditions if the conditions exist:
The torque converter operates correctly
Torque converter outlet pressure is correctTest Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from any machines that are working and any personnel.
Move the transmission control to the P position. Fully raise the dump body of the truck.
Stop the engine.
Permit only one operator on the machine. Either keep other personnel away from the machine, or keep other personnel in the sight of the operator.
Place blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Install the retaining pin for the dump body.Test Procedure
Start the machine and run the machine at low idle.

From the main menu in Advisor, enable the "Service Mode".

From the "Service" section, select "System Tests" and then "Stall Test". Select "OK" to enter the transmission stall test.
Start the stall test.

(A) Torque converter outlet pressure tap
Check the pressures for the torque converter outlet (A).
Do not keep the torque converter in a stall condition for long periods of time. Damage could occur in the torque converter, the engine, and the brakes.
When this test is complete, move the transmission control in P. Stop the engine. Remove the test equipment.
