Rework Procedure
Replace the 194-1723 Ride Control Check Valve with a 318-8833 Ride Control Check Valve.
The 194-1723 Ride Control Check Valve is located internal to the main implement control valve and requires the removal of the implement control valve stack from the machine and complete disassembly in a contamination controlled hydraulic facility. For removal, disassembly, assembly, and installation procedures please refer to the appropriate Disassembly and Assembly Manuals, RENR8881 (950H, 962H and IT62 Machines) and RENR8859 (966H and 972H Machines).
Images 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 illustrate the location of the ride control function block on 2-Function (3-Stack) and 3-Function (4-Stack) main implement control valve skid pack assemblies for medium wheel loader machines.

Prior to reassembly of the main implement control valve, inspect and seal the seven (7) 9S-8001 Plugs. Images 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 show the location of the affected 9S-8001 plugs. Remove these seven (7) plugs and remove the 4J-7533 O-Ring Seals (do not reuse the 4J-7533 seals). Clean the plugs and mating threads with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Assemble new 4J-7533 O-Ring Seals to the plugs. Apply 1E2200Q (Loctite 545) sealant to the threads of the plugs. Re-install the plugs and tighten to a torque of 4-6 N-m (3.0-4.4 lb-ft).
