New procedure for mounting the space heater is now available for the engines and generator sets that are listed above. The new mounting procedure is used in order to prevent electrical fault, and physical interference and damage to stator winding insulation.Perform the following procedure for mounting 383-1418 Space Heater (1000 W):
Remove 383-1417 Space Bracket, or 421-9839 Space Bracket (2), and mount 383-1418 Space Heater directly to non-drive end bearing bracket using same mounting hardware (5P-0537 Hard Washer, and 6V-8214 Bolt ) and existing heater bracket mounting holes.

Carefully reroute and fasten wire leads such that the wire leads avoid heated surface of 383-1418 Space Heater by at least 50 mm (2 inch).
