PROBLEM
The 1R-0750 and 1R-0751 fuel filters produced with the manufacturing date codes specified need to be removed from dealer parts stock. These filters were manufactured incorrectly. The filter housing could fatigue and break near the top plate.
ACTION REQUIRED
Certain 1R-0750 and 1R-0751 Fuel Filters need to be removed from dealer parts stock. The affected filters can be identified by the following date codes:

The filter packages are identified with date codes in a MMDDYY format. The filter housings are identified with NUMERALKOD in a DDMMYY format.
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all parts removed from dealer parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
All dealers are to make sure the outside of the shipping container is marked with the Service Letter and Program number.
