Removal Procedure
Start By:
Open the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Remove bolt (2) and the washer. Remove air intake duct (1) .

Loosen two hose clamps (3) and slide hose (7) down tube (6) .
Loosen nut (5) on clamp (4) and remove precleaner (8) .Installation Procedure

Install the precleaner (8) and tighten nut (5) on clamp (4) .
Slide hose (7) from tube (6) and install the hose on the precleaner. Tighten two clamps (3) .

Install air intake duct (1) .
Install the washer and bolt (2) .End By: Close the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
