Start By:a. remove drive axlesb. remove crankcase guards **This operation is in the Engine Disassembly and Assembly section.1. Drain the oil from the rear differential. 2. Put tooling (A) under the rear of the machine as shown. Lift the rear of the machine until the weight of the machine is on tooling (A). 3. Remove hose (2) for the oil drain.4. Remove bolts (3) and cover (1). Check the condition of the gasket behind the cover. If the gasket has damage, use new parts for replacement. 5. Remove bearing (4). Remove bolts (5) and plate (6). 6. Remove bearing (7).7. Disconnect the tube assembly from the grease fitting on the rear support. 8. Remove eight bolts (8) and nuts that hold the rear support in position. Remove the four nuts that hold the front support in position. Do not remove the bolts from their position. 9. Fasten a floor jack to the rear support. Lift the rear of the machine with tooling (A) until the dowels in the support are free of the main frame. Remove rear support (9). Weight of the support is 136 kg (300 lb). 10. Check the condition of O-ring seals (10) and bearing (11). If the parts have damage, use new parts for replacement. 11. Remove bolts (12) from cover (13). 12. Fasten a transmission floor jack to cover (13) as shown. Use two 7/8" - 9 NC bolts or forcing screws to loosen the cover. Tighten the bolts evenly until the cover is loose. Remove the cover. Weight of the cover is 64 kg (140 lb). Check the condition of the seal on the back side of the cover. If the seal has damage, use a new part for replacement.Install Rear Support
1. Install a new seal in cover (1).2. Fasten cover (1) to a transmission floor jack as shown.3. Put cover (1) in position against the rear axle housing and install the bolts that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 47 N m (350 35 lb ft). 4. Install new seals (2) and a new bearing (3) in the support if necessary. Use a flat plate 330 mm (13 in) in diameter and a press to install bearing (3).5. Fasten support (4) to a transmission floor jack as shown. Put the support in position on the cover.6. Lower the machine on the support with tooling (A). Install the eight bolts and nuts that hold the support to the frame of the machine. Install the four nuts that hold the front support in position. Tighten the twelve nuts to a torque of 1119 102 N m (825 75 lb ft).7. Connect the tube assembly to the grease fitting on top of the support. 8. Install the front bearing and plate (5). Install the bolts that hold the plate. 9. Install the rear bearing, gasket and cover (6) on the support. Use 7M7260 Liquid Gasket Material.10. Install the hose on the oil drain.11. Fill the rear
