The gear speed switch is located on the left armrest of the seat. Press the top of the switch in order to upshift by one speed. Press the bottom of the switch in order to downshift by one speed. 580 Wheel Harvester

The 580 Wheel Harvester has three speeds. The selected speed will be shown on the IQAN screen.FIRST SPEED - All wheel drive is only available in first speed. This provides the maximum traction. First speed is normally used when you are operating the machine in working mode. Roading the machine in first speed is not recommended unless the machine is being driven on a slope or in slippery conditions.SECOND SPEED - The front travel motors will be neutralized automatically. The front travel motors will be allowed to free wheel. Second speed allows only the two rear wheels to drive the machine. Second speed is slightly faster than first speed.THIRD SPEED - When the machine is placed into third speed, the ground speed doubles. Only the two rear wheels will continue to drive the machine.You can downshift the machine at any time without stopping. The IQAN system will automatically slow down the machine before downshifting, if necessary. 550 and 570 Wheel Harvesters

Note: These machines are all wheel drive in both speeds. The front drive motors cannot be disengaged.These machines have only two speeds. The selected speed will be shown on the IQAN screen.The speed can be changed at any time without stopping the machine. When you shift to second speed, the ground speed doubles.Note: When the working mode is selected, the IQAN will automatically shift into first speed.
