The new heat shield design improves airflow over the sensor and protects the sensor from radiant heat.Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.Reference: Refer to Special Instruction, REHS8151, NOx Sensors Handling and Installation Procedures for information on handling and installation of the NOx sensors.Ensure that there is not any exhaust wrap placed over the heat shielding for the sensor. Replace the p-clip bracket to reduce the chance of sensor harness wearing.The new part numbers needed for this change are listed in Table 1.
