Use the following information in place of the existing article.Reference: Special Instruction, REHS1469, "Installation of a New Restriction Orifice for the Unit Injector Pump"Description of Change: There is a new restriction orifice for the unit injector pump. This new restriction orifice allows a more efficient pressure drop at low temperatures. The more efficient pressure drop will allow easier starting in cold weather. Conversion to the new restriction orifice requires a modification to the unit injector pump. See the above Special Instruction for information on installation of the new restriction orifice.Adaptable To: The new restriction orifice can be found in 229-5103 Orifice Kit. This new kit is adaptable to PM-565B Cold Planers with the serial number range of (S/N: 8GS1-226). These machines use a 3408E engine with a serial number range of (S/N: 99C1-7473). The new restriction orifice is effective with machine serial numbers (S/N: 8GS227-UP).
