Remove the piston motor (hydrostatic).

Remove O-ring seal (1) and disconnect hose assembly (2).
Remove two bolts (3).
Install Tooling (A).
Install Tooling (B) to release the piston.
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove remaining bolts (3).
Use two people to remove brake housing (4). The weight of brake housing (4) is approximately 28 kg (62 lb).

Remove friction discs (5) and parking brake plates (6).Note: Note the order of friction discs (5) and parking brake plates (6) for assembly purposes.

Remove shaft (7), O-ring seals (8), and ring (9).Installation Procedure
Install the track brake in the reverse order of removal.
Lubricate the mating surface for O-ring seals (8) lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Apply SAE 30 or an equivalent lubricant to both sides of friction discs (5) and parking brake plates (6).
