Cut a hole in the access door to provide clearance for the air cleaner. Fabricate a bump-out to cover the hole.Crankcase Guard Preparation

Create an access panel for the engine oil and coolant drains. Weld the flat plates on the inside of the guard to fasten the access panel to.

Create clearance cut in the cross member.

Cut the gusset in half.

Connect the Cat ET to engine ECM for software configuration.

Configure Throttle Lock: "0" to disable and "1" to enable.

For machines with S/N prefix S/N:6BK, ; S/N:6YF, or ; S/N:5EW, configure the software to the higher HP rating. All other S/N prefixes will use the default rating.
To select the high HP rating, select Rating 2 under the "Selected Engine Rating - Rating Number" option. Then, select Rating 2 under the "Configuration GP - Num Power Levels"Repower Machine Cycle Times
Record the cycle times for the repowered machine. Refer to the machine Service Manual for machine cycle time procedure.Repower Machine Stall Speed (If Applicable)
Do not leave the converter in a stall condition for a prolonged period. Only stall the converter to record engine speed and boost pressure. Observe the torque converter oil and the cooling system temperatures. Do not allow the converter oil or the cooling system to overheat.
