Install Tooling (A) in the threaded hole of brake accumulator (4).
Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to Tooling (A). The weight of the brake accumulator is 45 kg (100 lb).

Use the hoist to carefully install brake accumulator (4).
Install clamp bolt (5).

Install bolts (9) that fasten brake accumulator (4) to the enclosure.

Install adapter (8) to the bottom of brake accumulator (4).

Connect hose assembly (6) and tube assembly (7) to the bottom of brake accumulator (4).

Install dust cover (3) on the top of the brake accumulator.
Repeat Steps 1 through 8 for the installation of the remaining brake accumulator.

Install cover plate (2) on the left side of the cab.
Fill the hydraulic tank for the steering system and for the braking system. For the correct procedure, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.
Dry nitrogen is the only gas approved for use in the accumulators. The charging of oxygen gas in an accumulator will cause an explosion. An explosion can be eliminated by using nitrogen gas cylinders with standard CGA (Compressed Gas Association, Inc.) No. 580 connectors. When nitrogen gas is ordered, make sure to order the cylinders with CGA No. 580 connectors.Do not rely on color codes or other methods of identification to tell the difference between nitrogen and oxygen cylinders. In any application, never use an adapter to connect your nitrogen charging group to a valve outlet used on both nitrogen, oxygen, or other gas cylinders. BE SURE YOU USE DRY NITROGEN (99.8% purity).
Check the charge of the brake accumulator. For the correct procedure, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.
Start the engine and check for leaks. Check for proper operation of the braking system. End By:
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
