Remove the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Remove the counterbalance valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterbalance Valve - Remove" for the correct procedure.
Remove the bottom guard (rear).
Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" for the correct procedure.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1), (2), (3), and (4) .

Remove hose assembly (5) .
Remove four bolts (6) and elbow (7) from the steering and implement pump.

Install Tooling (A), as shown.

Install Tooling (B) and a nylon strap on steering and implement pump (11). Attach Tooling (A) to the nylon strap and to Tooling (B) .Note: If the pump drive gear is removed with the pump, return the pump drive gear back to the flywheel housing. The pump drive gear should be put back in the flywheel housing before the pump and the adapter are tilted for removal.
Remove six bolts (9). Remove adapter (10) and steering and implement pump (11) as a unit. Use Tooling (A) in order to tilt the pump by 90 degrees. The weight of the adapter and the steering and implement pump as a unit is approximately 100 kg (220.0 lb).

Remove O-ring seal (12) from adapter (10) .
Remove the following components from steering and implement pump (11) : bolts (13), adapter (10) and the O-ring seal.

Remove the following components from the steering and implement pump: fitting (8), fitting (15), elbow (14) and the O-ring seals.
