Rework Procedure
REMOVE SIDE COVERS TO ACCESS THE HVAC UNIT
Remove LH and RH side covers to access the HVAC Unit. See Image 1.1.1.

HEATER HOSE RUBBING AT THE BRACKET AT THE WATER VALVE
On the top of the engine cover at the front of the Cab, open the fresh air filter access door and remove the fresh air filter. On the right side of the HVAC Compartment at the water valve, the heater hose is rubbing at the bracket. Remove the 8T-4137 Bolt that secures the P-Clip to the bracket and install an 8T-4136 Bolt and two 8T-4121 Washers to move the hose away from the bracket and eliminate the rubbing, see Image 1.2.1. Install the fresh air filter and close the fresh air filter access door.

HVAC SIDE COVER SEALING
Remove the existing seal at the HVAC Side Covers fresh air inlet and replace with a 236mm length of 201-4066 Seal on each side. Also, add 1,122mm of a 128-2596 Seal around the cover frame on the machine at each side. Be sure the new seal meets the existing seals around the frame for proper sealing. See Image 1.3.1. Install the HVAC Side Covers.

CAB HARNESS LADDER CLIP REPLACEMENT
In the Cab, at the left hand side of the front dash and under the dash, cut the cable strap and remove the existing ladder clip. Install the new longer 220-5946 Ladder Clip using a 7K-1181 Cable Strap to secure the harness to the ladder clip. The new assembly will allow the recirculation filter to be removed without interfering with the harness. See Image 1.4.1.
