ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the blade arrangement and replace if required. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.
The 359-3410 Blade Arrangement is not available from Service Centers. A new 480-8597 Blade Arrangement needs to be ordered directly from the factory through a MISC Order. To speed up the shipping of the new blade, create a GDSN Product Health service request (SR) with priority of "Product Inquiry / Informational" adding: CPI# 402883 to the CPI field, and mention this publication number, and MISC Order number in the description and title. Then the TC can close the ticket at Dealership without submitting to Caterpillar. (This will alert the CPI Team to proper act on it).

Note: An additional 8.0 hours is allowed for blade replacement, if required.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Read and understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual for safety information and safe working practices before starting this Rework Procedure.
1. Raise the blade to the maximum lift position.
2. With the blade fully tilted to the left, fully angle the blade to the left.
3. Inspect the blade bracket and C-frame for interference. Refer to Image1.3.1.

4. Repeat Step 2 and 3 to the right side.
- If no interference is present, no action is required. Release the machine to work.
- If there is any interference between the C-frame and angle bracket. Refer to Image1.4.1. Proceed to Step 5.

5. Replace the blade with a new one. Reference to UENR4082, Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer (VPAT)- Remove and Install".
The machine is ok to work with a non-conforming blade until a new one is available to replace it.
Reference the Machine Operation and Maintenance Manual, (OMM) on "Operation" section to perform the required actions.
