This Revised Service Letter replaces the 29Jul2010 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Parts Needed. The 298-4466 Belt was replaced by the 2534531/">253-4531 Belt.

PROBLEM
The existing fan drive can be seized or stick on certain D6N Track-Type Tractors. If the existing fan drive fails, it can be replaced by a new one with improved bearing lubrication. A new shaft and hub were redesigned. This redesign minimizes the assembly end-play due to the heavy load of the system.
