4 hours are allowed for inspection the torque converter drive shaft yoke bolt for a before failure repair.
Up to 8 hours total are allowed in case of an oil leak that requires machine cleaning and powertrain oil refill with appropriate quantity.
In all cases, record the torque value when the bolt starts turning in the claim report.

The bolt that secures the yoke to the torque converter needs to be inspected on the products listed below. This bolt can loosen resulting in powertrain oil leaking from the Yoke seal. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 08Sep2017 when scheduling this service.

Rework Procedure
Read and understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual for safety information and safe working practices before starting this Rework Procedure.
1. Start by removing the machine rear bottom guard.
Refer to Media Number UENR4082-02 (Disassembly and Assembly - D6N Track-Type Tractor Machine Systems - Bottom Guard - Remove and Install) as necessary.
2. Remove the main Drive Shaft. Retain the eight 8T-4182 Bolts.
