Information:


When the machine is lifted, transported on another vehicle or service work is being performed near the center of the machine, connect steering frame lock link between front and rear frames to keep the machine in a straight ahead position. Before operating and when operating, be sure steering frame lock, located near the lower center of the machine is disconnected and pinned to the retaining plates.
1. Put tool (A) in position underneath the engine guard and then fasten it to the engine guard. Remove the bolts that hold the engine guard to the machine frame.2. Remove engine guard (1) from the machine. 3. Disconnect the front drive shaft.4. Put wood blocks behind the rear tires of the truck.5. Raise the front of the machine with two fifty ton screw jacks (2).6. Support the axle housing with a suitable floor jack (3). 7. Remove the nuts (4) and washers that hold the tire and rim to the wheel assembly. 8. Secure the tire and rim (5) to a lift truck as shown. Remove tire and rim (5). The weight of each tire and rim is 544 Kg (1200 lb.). Repeat this procedure for the opposite side of the machine. 9. Make sure that the floor jack is secure under the axle housing.10. Remove breather line (6) from the axle housing.11. Remove grease lines (8) and shock pins (7) from each suspension cylinder. 12. Remove four bolts (10) from the ride height control bracket.13. Disconnect grease lines (9) from both sides of the machine. 14. Remove remaining bolts (12) from the ride height control shim cap.15. Remove shim cap (11). Remove the shim cap from the other side of the machine. 16. Remove shims (13) from both sides of the machines. 17. Remove four bolts and cover (14) [operator's side only]. 18. Disconnect brake line (15) from the piston (operator's side only). 19. Support both sides of the axle housing with straps and lift trucks. 20. Remove bolts (16) and pivot caps (17) from both ends of the axles. 21. Lower axle housing (18) to the floor. Weight of the axle housing plus the pivot housing is 1406 Kg (3100 lb.).Install Front Axle Housing
1. Put axle housing (18) in position with the straps and lift trucks.2. Install pivot caps (17) and bolts (16) at both ends of the axles. 3. Connect brake line (15) from the piston (operator's side only). 4. Install cover (14) and four bolts (operator's side only). 5. Install shims (13) on both sides of the machine. 6. Install shim caps (11) on both sides of the machine.7. Install bolts (12) in the ride height control shim cap. 8. Connect grease lines (9) on both sides of the machine.9. Install the four bolts (10) that hold the ride height control bracket to the shim cap. 10. Install shock pins (7) and grease lines (8) on each suspension cylinder.11. Install breather line (6) on the axle housing. 12. Put the tire and rim (5) in position on the
