16. Remove bolt (34) and the washer that hold lever (36) to shaft (23).17. Pull shaft (23) out of the body, and remove lever (36), spacer (37) and washer (35). 18. Use tool (B), and remove ring (38) from pin (39). Remove the pin and rollers (40) from lever (36). 19. Remove two plugs (41) from the body.20. Remove bolts (42) and the washers that hold levers (46) to shafts (44) and (45).21. Remove the shafts and levers (46) from the control valve.22. If necessary, remove key (43), ring (48) and washer (47) from shaft (44) and (45). 23. Remove ring (50) from pin (49) with tool (B).24. Remove pin (49) and rollers (51) from levers (46). 25. If necessary, remove seal (54) and plug (53) from body (55). Remove two bearings (52) and the bearing behind plug (53). 26. If necessary, remove seals (56) and (57) from the body. Remove bearing (58) and two bearings (59). 27. Remove four bolts (60), cover (61) and the gasket from the body. 28. Remove bolt (63) and the washer that hold lever (62) to shaft (64).29. Remove shaft (64) and lever (62) from the body. 30. Remove seat (66), valve (65), spring (68) and valve (67) from the body.31. Remove the O-ring seals from seat (66). 32. Remove seat (69) from the body. 33. If necessary, remove seal (71) and bearings (70) from the body.Assemble Steering Clutch And Brake Control Valve
1. Clean and inspect all parts. Replace all parts that are damaged or worn. Put clean oil on all parts of the control valve.
To prevent damage to bearings (1), when they are installed in the body, drive only on the stamped end of the bearings.
2. If bearings (1) were removed, use tool (A), and install the bearings in the body.3. Use tool (A), and install seal (2) in the body with the lip of the seal toward the inside of the body. Put clean oil on the lip of the seal. 4. Install seat (3) in the body. 5. Install the two O-ring seals on seat (5). Put clean oil on the O-ring seals.6. Put valve (6), spring (7) and valve (4) in position in the body, and install seat (5). 7. Put lever (8) in position in the body, and install shaft (10). Install bolt (9) and the washer to hold the lever in place on the shaft. 8. Put the gasket and cover (12) in position, and install four bolts (11).
To prevent damage to bearings (15) and (16), when they are installed in the body, drive only on the stamped end of the bearing.
9. If bearings (15) and (16) were removed, use tool (A), and install the bearings in the body.10. Use tool (A), and install seals (13) and (14) in the body. Install the seals with the lip of the seals toward the inside of the body.
To prevent damage to the bearings when they are installed in body (20), drive only on the stamped end of the
