The CCV system 191-2304 Fumes Disposal Filter Gp allows oil carryover into inlet air system of engine in multiple differing G3500H engine installations. The G3500H engines are experiencing multiple issues with the CCV system, including oil carryover, pulling vacuum on the crankcase, and emulsified oil causing early filter clogging. Poor installation, ambient conditions, and system monitoring lead to the issues being experienced.The crankcase ventilation system is overly sensitive to installation. Ambient conditions and improper installation practices can lead to oil carryover and improper system functionality.Solution
