Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

If necessary, install the gasket on flange (10). Install flange (10) and the bolts.
Attach a suitable lifting device to engine oil cooler (6). The weight of engine oil cooler (6) is approximately 79 kg (175 lb).
Install the O-ring seals on tube (9) and tube (8). Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals.
Position engine oil cooler (6) on the engine. Slide tube (9) and tube (8) in the elbow and the bonnet.
Install bolts (11) in the bottom of engine oil cooler (6).
Connect tube assembly (7). Install the clamp assembly on tube assembly (7). Tighten the clamp assembly to the elbow. Tighten the clamp assembly to tube assembly (7).

Install bolts (5) for engine oil cooler (6).

Install the O-ring seals on tube (4). Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals. Position the gasket on elbow (3). Position tube (4) and elbow (3). Install bolts (2).
Install clips (1), if necessary.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

Install the O-ring seals on tube (4). Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals. Position the gasket on elbow (3). Position tube (4) and elbow (3). Install bolts (2).
Install clips (1), if necessary.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
