Remote control switchRemote control switch (1) is an input to the Power Train Electronic Control Module (ECM). Remote control switch (1) has two positions. The ON position and the OFF position.The operation of the Power Train ECM changes when remote control switch (1) is moved to the ON position.The switch has six connector contacts. Connector contact 4 is not used. Connector contact 2 is connected to circuit breaker 10. Connector contact 3 and 1 are connected to the interface control module. Connector contact 5 is connected to circuit breaker 5. Connector contact 6 is connected to the Power Train ECM J1-25 and supplies power to the interface control module, the remote control receiver and the remote control activation light.When the machine is not being operated by remote control and remote control switch (1) is moved to the ON position, the parking brake will engage, the transmission will neutralize and the engine will shut down.ReferenceFor information on the Power Train ECM, refer to Systems Operation, Power Train, "Electronic Control Module (Power Train)".
